We make it simpler to shop for car insurance. You share some details about your car, your driving history and the cover you want, and we pass them to licensed carriers and agencies that can sell insurance where you live. The quotes they return are theirs to offer and entirely yours to take or leave.

We are not an insurer

We do not write policies, set premiums, issue documents or handle claims. Each quote, price and coverage decision is made by the licensed carrier or agency offering it, and any policy you buy is an agreement between you and that company.

How we make money

The service is free for you. Our partners pay us when we introduce a potential customer to them. That payment can influence which partners you are matched with and the order you see them in. It does not change the price a partner quotes you, and we earn nothing extra when you choose a more expensive policy.

Our matches are not a complete view of the market. Some insurers do not work with comparison services, so their prices will not appear here.

Every state is different

Car insurance rules are set by each state: the minimum cover you need, how injury claims work and which factors insurers may use to set prices. That alone can make quotes for two similar drivers in different states very different.
